FAQ

Questions about HIMHA

“The power to question is the basis of all human progress.” – Indira Gandhi

How can I get involved with HIMHA?

There are many ways to get involved! You can:

- Donate to HIMHA through our website or fundraising events.

- Volunteer your time and skills to support our projects.

- Spread awareness about HIMHA and our work in Vietnam.

- Attend our fundraising events! (please see Events page)

How can I donate to HIMHA?

You can donate online through our secure website using a credit card  (click the Donate Now button). We also accept checks (made to HIMHA) and cash donations mailed to our address.

How will the money I donate be used?

When you donate to HIMHA, funds will be allocated to support our current project (please see Current Projects page). 100% of all funds collected will  go directly to support the target charity. Expenses related to our own travel and accommodations will be paid by us.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Presently we are not organized as a 501(c)(3) (non-profit organization). This status may change as we grow. However, because HIMHA is not a 501(c)(3) at this time, charitable donations are technically not tax-deductible.  For accountability, we will publish our project budget and expenses for public scrutiny as we complete our projects.

How can I stay updated on HIMHA's work?

Sign up for our newsletter, follow us on social media, and visit our website regularly for updates. Please like and share our posts!

What are HIMHA's future plans?

We are always looking for new ways to expand our reach and impact. We are currently working on several new projects, including a healthcare clinic for children and a vocational training program for young adults. We hope that with the success of our current projects we will gain momentum and continue to support individuals in need.
